Kelly’s Theme, part 1

Track #9 on evolution is “Kelly’s theme.” In 2005, my cousin, Kelly McCosar, committed suicide. This song was written in her memory.

Before I go too far on this story, this is Kelly:

The picture above was taken at a family reunion in Holdenville, Oklahoma in 1999.

You know, I’m very good at talking about music, and other things.  But the fact of Kelly’s death is just something I haven’t come to terms with yet.  The story is long, and the story is private, and it’s going to stay that way.  I can only tell you a lot of the pain of life I work out through music.
